The sceneary is once agian spectacular and awsome, but this time you are in renaissance Italy, 1486. Of course this gives you a larger array of weapons, including dual hidden blades. The game takes you through,(in order of appearance), Florence,Tuscany, Monterrigonni,Romanga/Forli and finally Vienice. The story takes some unexpected plot twists many times which make it more exciting and tense. In this installment of the game you can buy weapons, armour, ammo and poison along with other things that can help you survive. You can also renavate things in Monterrigonni which is quite fun. there are many mini missions you can do, eg:races and finding seals from tombs.
The story is very well made, except this time there are no more "find where he is going to be" jobs, you just go and kill the guy, which is good, but at times they are to easy to take down.
Ezio does age throughout the game, but he still moves the same as always. One thing I found quite comical, was when you go to see you sister, who hadn't seen Ezio in five years, and she says: "here to look at the book"... the gameplay is some of the best I have ever seen in a free romer. As we all know the fights are truely epic, and this time round there are new badies to battle, some easy and some extremmly annoying.
THE VERDICT
I thought that assassin's creed was the best game in its genre for over a decade, but, as in the first one, the A.I is not brill, but it can be very funny at times, so it makes up for itself I guess.
I give it a 9.8/10 because of the A.I.
